BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is suffering from Coronavirus.Currently, he is isolated at the hospital. The former captain of India has been admitted to the hospital. He is being treated at the Woodland Hospital in Kolkata. Ganguly’s Covid-19 test report was positive on Monday.

As of last year, Ganguly had been hospitalized twice. Recently, there have been reports of a new variant of Coronavirus, called Omicron, spreading rapidly across the country.
The Corona vaccine was administered both times to Sourav Ganguly, and he traveled continuously. He was hospitalized on Monday night as a precaution. The RT-PCR test resulted in a positive result. According to BCCI sources, he was transported to Woodlands Nursing Home. The condition of the patient has stabilized since he has received medicine. Ganguly has been hospitalized twice already this year. An emergency angioplasty was performed after heart problems. Snehasish Ganguly, his elder brother, also contracted a corona infection this year.
In recent months, Sourav Ganguly has made headlines a lot. Indian cricket was rocked by Ganguly’s remarks on Virat Kohli’s captaincy before India’s tour of South Africa. The India ODI team has been reorganized under Rohit Sharma following Virat Kohli’s removal as captain following the T20 World Cup. Sourav Ganguly later revealed he requested Kohli not to resign as T20 captain. But Virat Kohli rebutted Ganguly’s claim in a press conference.
Virat Kohli said he had not been asked to remain as captain. His removal as captain was announced one and a half hours before the selection of the team for the South Africa tour. As part of the Ganguly-Kohli controversy, many former players blamed the attitude of the BCCI president.
