Google’s AI tool Bard can now generate and debug code

As a result of customer requests, Google’s conversation AI tool Bard can now assist software developers with programming tasks like code generation, debugging, and code explanation.

According to a blog post by Google Research product lead Paige Bailey published on Friday, coding has been one of the most popular user requests.

The launch of these software development tools in more than 20 programming languages, including C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript, was announced by Google on Friday. Google Colab users can export Python code. Bard can assist with Google Sheets’ writing features as well.
