Today’s decision will determine whose hands will hold the reins of the Congress party. Following the conclusion of voting on Monday, the votes for the position of President are counted today. The oldest political party in the nation is up for election, and Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor are competing for the top spot. Congress will choose a president who is not a Gandhi family member after nearly two decades. Due to the closeness of the Gandhi family and the support of other powerful individuals, Mallikarjun Kharge’s claim is considered trustworthy.

Counting of votes at Congress Headquarters
Starting this morning at 10 am, the votes are being counted. The Congress office, located at 24 Akbar Road in New Delhi, is where the votes are currently being counted. Let us inform you that on October 17, voting took place for the position of Congress President. Approximately 9500 delegates (members of the electoral college) including Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, and several other notable individuals cast their votes for the next Congress President.
Counting will be like this
After the election on October 17, ballot boxes were transported to the AICC office. The ballots will be mixed up before today’s voting, making it impossible to tell which contender received how many votes from which state. Following this, 50-50 bundles will be created to conduct the ballot paper counting.
