Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, is in India for two days. On the first day of the tour, PM Modi and Olaf Scholz had a meeting in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Both leaders had critical conversations, including ones involving international peace.
Rashtrapati Bhavan had before hosted a magnificent welcome for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He received a guard of honour here. During this, Prime Minister Modi was present. His trip to India is his first since taking office as German Chancellor in 2021.
‘Better India-German relations’
Olaf Scholz noted, “India and Germany have a very excellent connection, and we hope that we can strengthen this partnership even further,” prior to his meeting with PM Modi. The advancement of our nations and international peace will be the subject of a thorough discussion.
