With 3.19 million postings and over 100,000 subscribers, Jack Dorsey-backed Twitter competitor Bluesky is constantly expanding.
A number of new features are offered by the invite-only Bluesky, which is only available on Android and was first made available to iOS users in February as a closed beta.
Bluesky offers fundamental features for tracking likes or bookmarks, editing tweets, quote-tweeting, direct messages, using hashtags, and more. It strives to give people algorithmic choice.
The app has a straightforward user interface where you can click a plus button to add a 256-character post that supports images. The Twitter co-founder Dorsey serves on the board of Bluesky, which received $13 million in funding last year.
