Researchers have found that banking Trojan malware can be found in apps that have been downloaded over 3 lakh times. Among the applications that are not always safe, cybersecurity researchers at ThreatFabric cite document scanners, QR code readers, fitness trackers, and cryptocurrency trading platforms. It is possible for them to steal user passwords, two-factor authentication codes, screenshots, etc.
