Corona News: 11,499 new cases of Covid-19 in the country; 255 patients died

India has now reported 4,29,05,844 cases of Covid-19, a day after there were 11,499 new cases reported. At the same time, 1,21,881 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

Updated data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday morning revealed that 255 more people died of infections, bringing the death toll to 5,13,481.

The death rate from Covid-19 is 1.20 percent so far in the country, and the country has become an infection-free zone for 4,22,70,482 people. So far, the anti-Covid-19 vaccine has been given to some 177.13 crore people as part of the vaccination campaign.

The number of cases had crossed one crore on December 19, 2020. On May 4, 2016, the number of infected crossed 20 million. On June 23, 2021, the number crossed 30 million. The number of cases crossed four crores on January 26.

During the National Immunization Campaign, 175.46 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country.

Coronavirus Update: Slight increase in COVID-19 cases in India, 30,757 new cases in last 24 hours
