India vs New Zealand 2021; On Sunday, the Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the third match in the three-match series. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has been reported to ring the bell to announce the start of the third T20 match at Eden Gardens.

The Eden Gardens will host International Cricket after two years of preparation. The last international match played here was between Bangladesh and India in November 2019. Additionally, the audience will also return to the Garden of Eden. Also, tickets for the third T20 match are in high demand.

The first two matches were won unilaterally by India

In the last two T20 matches between India and New Zealand, India won the match in a lopsided manner. After winning the first T20 match by five wickets, India won the second match by seven wickets. New Zealand defeated India by 8 wickets in the T20 World Cup. Because of this, India‘s journey in T20 World Cup 2021 ended early.

Kane Williamson will not play in T20 series against India, Find out who will captain

IND vs NZ – The New Zealand team has been announced for the 3 T20 series against India beginning on Wednesday. The big news is that Captain Kane Williamson will not be playing in the series. In his stead, Tim Southee has been given command of the team.

In terms of Test preparation, Williamson has distanced himself from the T20 series. In addition to the three T20 series, two Tests will also be played between India and New Zealand. The first match in the series takes place in Kanpur on November 25. The second will be held in Mumbai from December 3. The series will be part of the World Test Championship. Therefore, Williamson decided not to take part in the T20 series in order to concentrate on it.

The New Zealand team named 14 players for the T20 series against India. The responsibility of batting will fall to Daryl Mitchell, Martin Guptill, and Glenn Phillips in this team. The fast bowling attack will be led by Tim Southee and Trent Boult. As spin bowlers, Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner will strengthen the team.

Having lost the final of the T20 World Cup yesterday, Williamson led the 15-member New Zealand team to Jaipur on Monday evening. On Wednesday, the first T20 match will be played here. The second T20 will take place on Friday, and the final match will take place on Sunday. New Zealand Cricket said, “The specialist players of the Test team are already in Jaipur.” Williamson will now join the group. He wants to focus on the Test series.

The NZC has also confirmed that fast bowler Lockie Ferguson will not play in the T20 World Cup due to a calf strain. The T20I series is expected to go well for him as he has been recovering rapidly.

Nine wickets were needed to defeat Namibia on Monday. KL Rahul’s unbeaten 54 off 36 balls helped India reach 136 for one in 15.2 overs chasing a target of 133 runs. A half-century was also scored by India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma, who scored 56 off 37 balls.

David Wiese, Namibia’s top scorer, scored 26 off 25 deliveries as the team posted 132-8 in 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets each for India.
