The glass skywalk offers a stunning view of the Buddhist pilgrimage site nestled among the Himalayas. There are 7,200 feet of elevation between the entire complex and the sea.

This scenic religious site also serves as a popular tourist destination thanks to the glass skywalk. Folklore has it that Chenrezig, or Avalokiteshvara, is the earthly manifestation of Lord Buddha, Amitabha. A statue was constructed in the Choeling area in Pelling at a cost of Rs 46.65 crore.

The pilgrim site houses the tallest Chenrezig statue in the world along with a glass skywalk, a gallery, and a cafe. In the skywalk, tourists and pilgrims can admire Chenrezig, its golden prayer wheels, and the stairs that lead up to it.
