According to Minister of Animal Husbandry Virendra Kanwar, 2 lakh 26 thousand 351 animals have received the Lumpy disease vaccine to date. According to the Minister of Animal Husbandry, 1 to 5% of animals in Himachal Pradesh die, and 10 to 20% of animals are infected.

Task force has been formed

The government has created a task group to stop the spread of this disease and save the animals in Himachal, according to the minister of animal husbandry. The state government has been taking the required actions to stop the Lumpy virus from the beginning and has submitted a request for the Home Ministry to declare Lumpy an epidemic. Following the deaths of people during the Corona era, the minister claimed that Congress leader Mukesh Agnihotri is now campaigning on the deaths of animals as well.

Compensation not received

The minister of Himachal claimed that compensation would be given to animal owners as a result of Lumpy sickness deaths. However, no owner in Himachal has yet received compensation.
