The app for Windows will also be updated with a dark theme option. There will also be a new camera icon for WhatsApp.

WABetaInfo reports that beta testers are receiving all of these changes well. The recent pictures in the gallery will be displayed in a horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen. A new button will replace the horizontal media bar. By clicking the new button, the gallery will open immediately. In the coming updates to WhatsApp Camera, there will be more changes.

The horizontal bar that was previously above the camera icon has gone with this new update. As of this update, you must tap twice to reach a gallery for sharing any media files, instead of showing a preview in the horizontal bar. WhatsApp’s Universal Windows Platform app has received another update, adding a dark theme. WhatsApp has made many improvements to its user interface before this. Will Get a Dark Theme
Using the dark theme on Windows automatically darkens WhatsApp’s theme, states WABetaInfo. The dark theme can be selected in WhatsApp’s settings. Selecting another theme will require you to go to Settings and restart WhatsApp. Furthermore, the tint color was changed to green. In addition, the user interface was changed slightly.
