Furthermore, the number of cases of Omicron is on the rise in the country. The country currently has 10,050 cases of Omicron. Compared to yesterday, Omicron’s cases increased by 3.69 percent.
As the number of Corona cases in the country increases and fewer people recover, the number of active cases continues to rise. Twenty-one thousand thirteen hundred sixty-six (21,13,365) active cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
As a percentage of total cases, 5.43 percent are active. Presently, the recovery rate in the country has decreased to 93.31 percent.
There is also a significant number of patients who recover from Corona. There have been 2,42,676 Corona cures during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Corona patients to 3,63,01,482. In addition, the country’s daily positivity rate stands at 17.22 percent, while its weekly positivity rate is 16.65 percent.
As a result, 71.34 crore tests have been conducted in the country for Corona investigation. The country has conducted 19,60,954 tests in the last 24 hours.
