Android users often wish for a way to scroll through screenshots. One of the features that Android 12 will have is scrolling screenshots, which will fulfill that wish for Android users.

Scrolling screenshots that attempt to capture all the elements of a web page do not always work properly, especially on older smartphones. When working in a browser, screen-grab faces struggle with lazy loading problems.
If you want to take a screenshot before scrolling to a certain part, the screen capture can occur before the content has loaded, which will cause a failure to take the screenshot.
This issue has been addressed by Google with a feature called ‘Long Screenshots’ in Chrome for Android that also allows users to catch scrolling screenshots even if their phone does not have them natively. You can enable the new feature via the Chrome Flags page.
Follow few simple steps to enable long page screenshot feature

Step 1: For Android users, open Google Chrome. Type chrome://flags in the address bar
Step 2: A search bar will appear on the page once Chrome Flags opens. You can also use the search box to find “Long Screenshot.”
Step 3: A new option will appear soon entitled ‘Chrome Share Long Screenshots.’ Select ‘Default’ from the drop-down box.
Step 4: Choose ‘Enabled.’ Once you have enabled the Chrome flag, you will be prompted to relaunch Chrome.
Step 5: The changes will take effect after you tap ‘Relaunch’.
Step 6: Make sure it worked by opening a webpage or by returning to the article and tapping on the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
Step 7: When you select Share, a pop-up window will appear. You will find ‘Long Screenshot’ at the bottom of the pop-up. Touch that option.
Step 8: The next screen will look like a crop. Scroll up or down as much as you need using the top and bottom arrows.

Step 9: Click on ‘Next’ in the top-right corner of the screen once you have chosen the desired section of the web page to be captured. As well as editing or annotating the screenshot if you wish, you can do both.
Step 10: If you choose to ‘Share the screenshot,’ save the screenshot only to your device, or delete it, you will be prompted to do so. Choose accordingly. The screenshot will be saved to your device’s default download folder if you choose to save it.
In this way, you can enable and take full-page screenshots through your Google Chrome. In some cases, you may not see the Chrome flag that is required to be enabled if you don’t upgrade to the latest version of Chrome.
