Cyber security company Acronis breached and data leaked; Company denied

Acronis, a leading provider of cyber security solutions, has reportedly been breached, and that data has been exposed on a Dark Web forum.

The claims by an unidentified hacker that they had broken into Acronis and released data taken from the digital security company on a dark-web forum were posted by FalconFeedsio on Twitter.

The information includes certificate files, command logs, system configurations, and file system archives, according to Falcon’s tweet. The hacker who first claimed credit for the attack and identified the putative victim in their original dark-web post was shared by the threat watcher.
