Covid-19 Updates: 2,075 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours, 71 people died

There is a continuous decline in Coronavirus infections across the country. During the last 24 hours, 2,075 new patients have appeared. During this period, 71 people died. In just one day, there were 2,528 new Covid-19 cases reported in India. Less than 28 thousand patients are actively seeking treatment in the country. The daily positivity rate has dropped to 0.56%. In all, 1,814,04,96,924 corona vaccines have been administered across the country.

The number of people infected with Covid-19 has risen to 65,25,877 following 847 new cases in Kerala on Friday. Apart from this, 171 new Corona virus infections were reported in Maharashtra and 75 in Andhra Pradesh. Health Department of Kerala reports that 59 more cases of death due to Covid-19 have been reported, increasing the total number of dead to 67,197. There were 22,683 samples tested for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra’s Corona situation

With 171 new cases of Covid-19 being reported in Maharashtra on Friday, the toll of infected people reaches 78,72,203. Covid-19 has killed three more people, bringing the total to 1,43,765. The department reports that 1,680 patients are under treatment in the state. The number of people who have been cured has increased to 77,22,754 after 394 people were cured on Friday.

Andhra Pradesh, Corona

A total of 23,19,141 people are now infected with Covid-19 after 75 new cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. According to the latest bulletin, no new cases of death from Covid-19 have been reported and the total number of deaths remains 14,730. In the state, 536 patients are receiving treatment, according to the bulletin. The number of people who have been cured has risen to 23,03,877 after 46 people were cured on Friday.

Delhi’s Corona

In Delhi, 140 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Friday, but no one died from the infection. According to a Health Department bulletin, 0.43 percent of the city’s residents were infected. Despite this, the total death toll remains stable at 26,145. In the report, it says 32,444 tests of Covid-19 were performed on Thursday.

Covid vaccination of 12 to 14-year-old children starts in India from today, booster dose to 60+ age group

The scope of Covid vaccination to protect against Coronavirus in India was expanded to include children aged 12 to 14 years old from Wednesday. Corona News: 11,499 new cases of Covid-19 in the country; 255 patients died

India has now reported 4,29,05,844 cases of Covid-19, a day after there were 11,499 new cases reported. At the same time, 1,21,881 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

The death rate from Covid-19 is 1.20 percent so far in the country, and the country has become an infection-free zone for 4,22,70,482 people. So far, the anti-Covid-19 vaccine has been given to some 177.13 crore people as part of the vaccination campaign.

The number of cases had crossed one crore on December 19, 2020. On May 4, 2016, the number of infected crossed 20 million. On June 23, 2021, the number crossed 30 million. The number of cases crossed four crores on January 26.
