The information stated that BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola and Congress candidate Akshay Kanti Bam had arrived at the poll office, where Bam withdrew his nomination. Following this, he and MLA Mendola and Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya headed for the BJP headquarters. It is anticipated that Akshay Kanti will join the BJP.
Following his withdrawal from the nomination, Akshay Kanti Bam claimed that Congress had not shown him any assistance since he had made his nomination.
