The Special Investigation Team of the Delhi Police has taken significant action in the case of the sexual exploitation of female wrestlers. The SIT visited Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh‘s hometown of Bishnoharpur in Gonda in this case, where the team took 12 witnesses’ accounts.
Close associates, friends, and security employees of Brij Bhushan have given police their statements, which have been recorded. The team has also questioned Brij Bhushan in addition to this.
Let us say that the wrestlers who were calling for action against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh are now back at work. The wrestlers made the decision to join the office after meeting Home Minister Amit Shah, despite rumours that linked the news of the wrestlers’ entry into the workforce to the movement’s withdrawal, something the wrestlers had vehemently opposed.
