Wikipedia has been blocked in Pakistan. Wikipedia’s services have reportedly been blocked by the Pakistan Telecom Authority, according to Pakistani media (PTA).

This action was initiated because the blasphemous was not removed; according to reports, the Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has previously warned Wikipedia but nothing was done as a result.
The PTA tweeted to let people know that Wikipedia had been suspended for 48 hours because it had purposefully ignored the PTA’s instructions.
A similar ban has been imposed on Wikipedia in China, Iran, Russia, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, among other countries.
