PM of Fiji confers highest honor to PM Modi

After attending the G-7 and Quad meetings in Japan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Papua New Guinea on Sunday. He was there during the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Co-operation’s (FIPIC) third summit in this location.

By meeting the leaders of other nations in the Pacific region after the meeting, PM Modi has made another step towards friendship. The highest honour of his nation, “Companion of the Order of Fiji,” was presented to PM Modi by the Prime Minister of Fiji for these initiatives taken by India as a world leader.

This honour has only ever been presented to a select few non-Fijians worldwide.
