Rajasthan government bans glue traps for rodent control

Rajasthan government has outlawed the usage, production, distribution, and import of glue traps for rodent capture.

Bhavani Singh Rathore, a member secretary of the state Animal Welfare Board and director of the Animal Husbandry Department, responded to PETA’s appeal in India by writing a letter to all district collectors and the committee chair, ordering them to stop manufacturing, using, importing, and exporting sticky traps immediately.
