Spotify users can now share music, and podcasts on BeReal

The French photo-sharing app BeReal and the music streaming service Spotify have announced their integration, which will let users share music and podcasts in their BeReal posts.

“This integration within the BeReal platform is something we’re proud of. Spotify said in a blog post: “We’re always looking for innovative ways to make Spotify accessible to more people and to let fans, artists, and communities connect through audio globally.

As this experience rolls out, customers of BeReal and Spotify in a few areas (including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, and the US) can access it on their Android and iOS devices.

Spotify laid off 600 employees

Spotify introduces a vertical feed of music videos to compete with Instagram Reel and Tiktok

Spotify, the Swedish music streaming giant, is experimenting with a feature in its mobile app that allows users to browse through a stream of music videos similar to TikTok. In order to compete with Instagram Reel and Tiktok, Spotify now offers a vertical video feed

In addition to TikTok, apps like Instagram and YouTube are replicating their vertical video feed. According to testers, the feature can be found in Spotify’s beta version for iOS, which is available on TestFlight.By swiping up or down on the icon on the app’s tab bar, users can watch short video clips vertically, according to 9To5Google.

Spotify declined to provide more information regarding the vertical feed of music videos, according to the report. The company has investigated the possibility of vertical video feeds, according to an official statement.

Spotify may be using its Canvas format to implement the feature. In 2019, Spotify introduced Canvas, a feature that lets artists create videos to accompany their music.

Netflix announced recently that Spotify was collaborating with them to create a dedicated hub. Netflix hub will feature all Netflix-related media, including some exclusive to Spotify, making it an all-in-one destination for Netflix content. The service is accessible from mobile as well as web versions.
