According to updated data, the daily infection rate was 1.01 percent and the weekly infection rate was 1.36 percent. The death rate from Covid-19 is 1.20 percent so far in the country, and the country has become an infection-free zone for 4,22,70,482 people. So far, the anti-Covid-19 vaccine has been given to some 177.13 crore people as part of the vaccination campaign.
The number of cases had crossed one crore on December 19, 2020. On May 4, 2016, the number of infected crossed 20 million. On June 23, 2021, the number crossed 30 million. The number of cases crossed four crores on January 26.
Within the last 24 hours, 255 deaths have been reported due to infection, according to the ministry. Kerala reported 177 deaths, while Karnataka reported 15 deaths.
There have been 5,13,481 deaths in Covid-19, with 1,43,687 in Maharashtra, 64,980 in Kerala, 39,900 in Karnataka, 38,000 in Tamil Nadu, 26,117 in Delhi, North There were 23,447 people from the state, and 21,169 from West Bengal.
