The government has issued an important order in response to the violence in Manipur. As a result, it has been ordered to shoot miscreants on sight.
According to reports, the Manipur government ordered shoot-at-sight orders for criminals on Thursday to stop the escalating violence between the Meitei community and the tribal people.
According to the Governor’s directive, shoot at sight should be used when all other options, including warning and the use of reasonable force, have been exhausted and the situation cannot be handled. The State Government’s Commissioner (Home) has signed the notification. According to the 1973 Criminal Procedure Code’s provisions, notification has been given.
