Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting his next film, a dark thriller titled Beast, which will be directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures. Next year, the actor will be seen in Thalapathy 66, a film directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju.

Ananya Pandey was reported to be considered for an important role in the bilingual Thalapathy 66; which was also expected to be dubbed into Hindi. Following Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan‘s arrest at a rave party on October 2, Ananya was under the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau.
NCB officials conducted a raid at Ananya Pandey‘s residence after finding drug-related chats between Aryan and Ananya. Her father Chunky Panday was spotted with her at the NCB office, where she was later questioned.
Reports say; that these events have affected the young actress Ananya, who has been removed from Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Thalapathy 66. But in reality, it’s something entirely different. “Ananya wasn’t even offered the project, so how was she removed?”, a source close to the actress says. This statement is just false and baseless. The interesting projects Ananya has lined up have kept her busy lately. Thalapathy 66 has not been discussed.”
In addition to her acting debut, Ananya appeared in Pati Patni Aur Woh and Student of the Year 2. Khaali Peeli marked her OTT debut as well. Ananya’s next movie is Liger, in which she stars with Vijay Deverakonda.
