ASI survey will continue in Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque, High Court rejects Muslim side’s petition

On Thursday, the Allahabad High Court decided on the ASI survey of Varanasi’s Gyanvapi Mosque. The court rejected the appeal of the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee and approved the ASI survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid.

The Varanasi District Judge had mandated an ASI survey of Gyanvapi on July 21. First at the Supreme Court, then in the High Court, the Muslim side contested the ASI survey’s findings. A petition by the Muslim side to ban the survey has been rejected by the High Court. Allahabad High Court said the ASI survey is necessary in the interest of justice. It needs to be implemented under certain conditions.

In the Gyanvapi case, the Supreme Court stayed the survey of ASI till July 26

On Monday, the process of conducting a scientific inspection of the remaining locations—aside from the sealed warehouse situated on Varanasi’s Gyanvapi premises—began. While the Muslim side abstained, the Hindu parties to the case, including the ASI team, arrived at the location. The Supreme Court temporarily stopped the digging in response to a plea from the Muslim side.

The ASI survey in the Gyanvapi case has been put on hold by the Supreme Court until July 26. At the request of the Muslim side, the Supreme Court issued a stay of this. The Muslim side had petitioned the Supreme Court to stop this survey, and as a result, the court ordered that the survey activities cease until 5 PM on July 26.

According to the Supreme Court, the Muslim side may appeal the case to the High Court. A high alert has been issued by the administration for the city.

Mukhtar Ansari has received sentences in four cases over the past year. However, out of all these instances, the Awadhesh Rai murder case is the most significant and carries the harshest punishment. The primary suspect in the murder of Awadhesh Rai is Mukhtar Ansari. Due to the court’s ruling, both the civil court complex and the courtroom inside the nine-story building have strong security measures in place.

Case hearings in Varanasi and Prayagraj Awadhesh Rai, the older brother of former MLA Ajay Rai, was fatally murdered on August 3, 1991, in front of his home in the Lahurabir neighborhood. Mukhtar Ansari, former MLA Abdul Kalam, Bhim Singh, Kamlesh Singh, and Rakesh Justice were named in a complaint filed by Ajay Rai.

Mafia Mukhtar Ansari convicted in gangster case, imprisoned for 10 years and fined Rs 5 lakh

Mukhtar Ansari, a mafia don in Purvanchal, and his brother, BSP MP Afzal Ansari, had a historic day on Saturday. Based on the evidence filed in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai, a gangster case was filed against Afzal Ansari.

Mafia Mukhtar Ansari has been given a ten-year prison term under the Gangster Act by the MP MLA court in Ghazipur. A five lakh rupee fine has also been imposed in addition to this.

Mukhtar Ansari has also been charged with murder in the shooting deaths of BJP legislators Krishnanand Rai and Nandkishore Gupta Rungta. According to the Muhammadabad police station, both brothers were charged with crimes number 1051 and 1052 in 2007.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath took a big step towards bringing transparency in the recruitment of teachers

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has ordered the establishment of an integrated commission for the selection of teachers for all primary and secondary schools and madrassas, marking a significant step towards introducing transparency to the recruitment of teachers.

Following its establishment, this commission will be responsible for hiring teachers for the state’s madrasas, minority educational institutions, high schools, technical colleges, and primary, secondary, and elementary schools. The Teacher Eligibility Exam will also be administered by this body (TET).

Tuesday, a state government spokeswoman announced that the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission would shortly be established.
