UP MLC Election Result 2022: BJP’s Pragya Tripathi wins from Bahraich seat, defeating SP candidate by 3188 votes

Dr. Pragya Tripathi, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, was elected to Bahraich MLC. Samajwadi Party candidate Amar was defeated by 3188 votes. There was 98.91 percent of eligible voters in attendance. There were two candidates.

On the 9th of April (Saturday), voting was held for the election of MLCs from a total of 27 local authority constituencies. There are 95 candidates who will be decided in this election. Unopposed elections have been held for 9 MLCs from 8 constituencies. A total of 739 polling booths were set up.

UP MLC election 2022 concluded with the election of 9 members from 8 local authority constituencies. In the constituencies where unopposed elections have been held, one member each has been elected from Badaun, Hardoi, Kheri, Mirzapur-Sonbhadra, Banda-Hamirpur, Aligarh, Bulandshahr. Mathura-Eta-Mainpuri has elected two members unopposed. There will be voting in 58 districts across the state.

The Central Armed Police Force is providing security at polling stations in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections. In addition to this, central security forces have been deployed for the strong room, which will store ballot boxes after voting. A total of 293 zonal magistrates, 451 sector magistrates, and 597 static magistrates have been deployed to ensure the smooth running of the election.

Arson in Jharkhand –

Ram Navami was celebrated in Sendhwa in the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh when two sides faced heavy stone-pelting. The incident occurred on Jhogwara Road in Sendhwa City. Baldev Mujalde, the head of the Sendhwa city police station, was injured during this stone-pelting. A motorcycle was set ablaze by miscreants. In addition, 2 to 3 religious sites were vandalized. A police force, including SP Barwani, Collector is deployed in the city after this incident.

Covid Booster doses for adults 18+ will be available in private centers from April 10

As of Sunday, April 10th, private vaccination centers will offer COVID-19 Precaution Booster Dose for adults over 18 years of age. The information has been provided by the Union Health Ministry. In a statement, the center stated that those over 18 years of age, who have completed 9 months after receiving the second dose of vaccine, will be eligible for a precaution dose at a private vaccination center.

“The decision has been made to provide precaution doses of COVID vaccine to the population of 18+ at private vaccination centers. Vaccination for adults 18 and older will be available through private vaccination starting on 10th April (Sunday), 2022. The precaution dose is available to all individuals over the age of 18 who have completed the second dose in the past 9 months,” according to the Union Health Ministry.

7th Pay Commission: Retired employees of these departments will get large amount, central government increased DR

According to the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, Dearness Relief (DR) for Central Government pensioners who are families has been increased from 3 percent to 34 percent with effect from January 1, 2022. Department of State tweeted that the new family pension rate has been rolled out for Central Government pensioners and family pensioners. On January 1, 2022, a new rate was implemented.

Dearness relief has been reduced to 34 percent of the basic pension and family pension. Earlier, it was 31 percent. An additional installment of Dearness Allowance has been approved by the Union Cabinet for Central Government employees & a Dearness Relief payment has been approved for pensioners. The new rate is 3 percent higher than the existing 31 percent of Basic Pay.

The DR rates will be applicable to pensioners and family pensioners who are civil servants in the Central Government. Further, pensioners absorbed into PSUs and autonomous bodies for whom the 15-year commutation period has expired under this Department’s Office Memorandum 4/34/2002-P&PW(D) Vol-II dated 23.06.2017 until after that orders for full pension restoration have been issued.

Bihar MLC Election Results 2022: Counting of votes for 24 seats, decision on victory and defeat of 187 candidates today

Results of the elections for 24 seats in the Bihar Legislative Council have been released today. The Election Commission has established counting centers in 24 districts for the counting of electoral votes. The votes are being counted at 14 tables in all of the counting centers. Covid: India’s first case of Omicron’s new variant XE of coronavirus found in Mumbai

A new form of Covid-19 from Omicron was detected in Mumbai for the first time. In this report, the first Omicron XE variant is described. Additionally, a case has been found for the Kappa variant of Omicron. Tests were conducted on 376 samples. More than 230 of them belong to Mumbai residents. This variant, however, does not cause any severe symptoms in patients.

Nine people who took both vaccine doses were hospitalized. A total of 12 patients without vaccine doses were hospitalized. The 21 hospitalized patients did not require oxygen or intensive care.

A recent report by the World Health Organization suggests that the XE variant of Corona is the most infectious. The XE mutation results from the recombination of BA’1 and BA.2. Recombinant mutations occur when patients are infected with variations of the Corona virus.

Omicron’s subvariant BA.2 has a 10 percent higher infectious ability than the new variant XE, according to the World Health Organization. WHO said early estimates indicate it is 10 percent more infectious than BA.2. This, however, requires further verification.
