Country got third made in India vaccine, anti covid pill also approved

Covovax and Corbevax vaccines, as well as the antiviral drug Molnupiravir, have been approved as an emergency treatment by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), a branch of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

India has now developed three vaccines. Pune-based Serum Institute of India will produce the nanoparticle vaccine, Kovovax. Earlier this year, the Serum Institute of India (SII) sought permission to market Kovovax for use in emergency situations. DCGI received SII’s application in October.

Omicron cases in 653

A significant amount of vaccines is being rolled out in the country to protect against Omicron variants of Covid infection. The focus of this episode is vaccination. Six hundred and fifty-three cases of Omicron have been reported in Indian states and union territories, of which 186 have been cured or have departed for other countries.

Those with serious diseases, such as heart disease, and frontline workers will receive the third dose of vaccine based on whether they received the second and third doses. In accordance with the guidelines that will go into effect on January 3, only people aged 15 and over will be allowed to register at Cowin. The vaccination will be available to those born in 2007 or earlier.

Corona cases increasing again after 6 months in Mumbai, 922 new cases came in 24 hours

In Mumbai, 922 new cases of Covid19 infection were reported on Sunday, increasing the number of people infected to 7,71,112. On Saturday, there were 757 cases in Mumbai without a death. In Mumbai, 955 cases were reported on June 4, a steady decrease since then, according to Covid’s Dashboard. Approximately 6 months after the last increase, the number of cases has risen again.

Thirty-one new cases of Omicron have been reported in Maharashtra, now totaling 141

As of Sunday, 31 new cases of Omicron were reported in Maharashtra, increasing the total number of people infected with this virus to 141. A statement from the Mumbai Health Department said 27 new cases of Omicron have been reported in the city, bringing the total to 73. Manindra Agarwal, a scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology involved in the mathematical estimate of Coronavirus-19, predicted in early December that the third wave of Coronavirus cases may peak in late February when the number exceeds one lakh per day. The number of reported cases may reach 1.5 lakh.
