The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is attacking Bihari’s Nitish government. The number of state holidays for Hindu holidays was cut by the Nitish government on Monday, November 27, 2023. It was raised concurrently for Muslim holidays. Sushil Modi stated that the holidays for adherents of the Hindu religion are being shortened as a well-thought-out tactic.

Let us inform you that on Monday, November 27, 2023, the Bihar Education Department issued the holiday schedule for 2024. They also stated that a chart has been created to guarantee at least 220 teaching days in accordance with the Right to Education. The holiday schedule has changed for 2024, with 30 summer holiday days being available instead of 20. The holidays of Jitiya and Hartalika Teej have also been discontinued. The Eid-ul-Fitr and Bakrid Eid holidays have been extended to three days each by the Education Department at the same time.
