Success in the biggest theft case in Delhi, thieves caught with 25 kg gold from Chhattisgarh

Delhi Jewellery Heist: The largest theft case in the nation’s capital, Delhi, involving 25 crore rupees, is nearly over. An Umrao Jewelers shop in the Bhogal Bazaar of Jangpura was robbed on September 24. The ruthless thief Lokesh Srivastava and his accomplice Shiva Chandravanshi were apprehended by the Chhattisgarh Police with 25 kg of gold. Along with recovering 25 kg of gold from Lokesh Shriwas, the police also found money and other jewelry.

This entire stolen property was stolen in Delhi. Lokesh from Kohka has been detained by Durg police. Police in Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur both have Lokesh on their wanted list. Prior to this, Lokesh Shrivas had been successfully apprehended by Durg Police along with 100% of the stolen goods from Parakh Jewelers in Akashganga. Lokesh Shriwas is currently being questioned by Durg police over a different crime.

Let us inform you that approximately twenty squads from various Delhi Police branches were working to solve this issue. Senior police authorities reported that teams from the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, Crime Branch, and Counter Intelligence Unit were conducting raids to apprehend the thieves. NIA arrests two Naxals including a woman in Chhattisgarh’s 2019 Tiriya encounter case

According to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), two Naxals, including a woman, have been detained in connection with the 2019 Tiriya encounter case in Chhattisgarh, which resulted in the deaths of six Naxals and one civilian.

The second arrest in this case occurred today. Later on in the day, Purohit will be brought before a Special PMLA court. The ED is prepared to ask for his incarceration.

Anwar Dhebar, the brother of Raipur Mayor Ajaz Dhebar, was identified as the primary mastermind behind the liquor scam by the ED on Monday.

Currently, Anwar is under the custody of the ED. In the early hours of May 6, he was apprehended while attempting to flee and get out of a hotel through the backdoor.

IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, 10 soldiers martyred and one civilian killed

Dantewada Naxal Attack: Ten jawans were martyred in a Naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, on Wednesday. There has also been a fatality among one civilians. They are all DRG personnel.

In order to pick up their teammates, these jawans were traveling to Aranpur in a private vehicle. The Naxalites blast the IED in the interim. It hasn’t yet been formally confirmed, though.

West Bengal is likely to experience heavy rainfall, cyclone alerts issued in these states

A cyclone alert has been issued for Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) report. However, heavy rain is expected in many parts of West Bengal on Saturday.

A deep depression has developed over northeast India and the east-central Bay of Bengal, the weather department said. This cyclone may intensify into a tropical cyclone known as Cyclone Gulab and move southward towards Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh.

According to the IMD, the storm will bring heavy rains to parts of West Bengal, including Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, East Midnapore, and South 24 Parganas.

Upon receiving the IMD alert, the Kolkata Police established a ‘Unified Command Center’. Kolkata and other areas in West Bengal are expected to receive heavy rainfall this week, prompting all police divisions and stations in the area to remain on high alert.
