Success in the biggest theft case in Delhi, thieves caught with 25 kg gold from Chhattisgarh

Delhi Jewellery Heist: The largest theft case in the nation’s capital, Delhi, involving 25 crore rupees, is nearly over. An Umrao Jewelers shop in the Bhogal Bazaar of Jangpura was robbed on September 24. The ruthless thief Lokesh Srivastava and his accomplice Shiva Chandravanshi were apprehended by the Chhattisgarh Police with 25 kg of gold. Along with recovering 25 kg of gold from Lokesh Shriwas, the police also found money and other jewelry.

This entire stolen property was stolen in Delhi. Lokesh from Kohka has been detained by Durg police. Police in Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur both have Lokesh on their wanted list. Prior to this, Lokesh Shrivas had been successfully apprehended by Durg Police along with 100% of the stolen goods from Parakh Jewelers in Akashganga. Lokesh Shriwas is currently being questioned by Durg police over a different crime.

Let us inform you that approximately twenty squads from various Delhi Police branches were working to solve this issue. Senior police authorities reported that teams from the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, Crime Branch, and Counter Intelligence Unit were conducting raids to apprehend the thieves. In order to apprehend the perpetrators of one of the worst heists in the city, the police also obtained some early leads and diligently pursued them.

NIA arrests two Naxals including a woman in Chhattisgarh’s 2019 Tiriya encounter case

According to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), two Naxals, including a woman, have been detained in connection with the 2019 Tiriya encounter case in Chhattisgarh, which resulted in the deaths of six Naxals and one civilian.

B.Ch. Padma and Dubasi Devender were apprehended by the NIA on Sunday following in-depth investigations into the case, also known as the RK Dairy case, according to a statement from the NIA. Four suspects in the case have been apprehended by the NIA thus far.

ED arrests Nitesh Purohit, accused in Rs 2,000 crore liquor scam in Chhattisgarh

A suspect in the Rs 2,000 crore liquor scam in Chhattisgarh, Nitesh Purohit, was detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday.

The second arrest in this case occurred today. Later on in the day, Purohit will be brought before a Special PMLA court. The ED is prepared to ask for his incarceration.

Anwar Dhebar, the brother of Raipur Mayor Ajaz Dhebar, was identified as the primary mastermind behind the liquor scam by the ED on Monday.

Currently, Anwar is under the custody of the ED. In the early hours of May 6, he was apprehended while attempting to flee and get out of a hotel through the backdoor.

IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, 10 soldiers martyred and one civilian killed

Dantewada Naxal Attack: Ten jawans were martyred in a Naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, on Wednesday. There has also been a fatality among one civilians. They are all DRG personnel.

In order to pick up their teammates, these jawans were traveling to Aranpur in a private vehicle. The Naxalites blast the IED in the interim. It hasn’t yet been formally confirmed, though.

Some Naxalites reportedly suffered injuries as well in reprisal. The case is located near the Aranpur police station. According to reports, two ambulances were dispatched to the area. On the scene, there are also police units.

Shree Cement and Dalmia Cement (Bharat) among successful bidders in e-auction of coal mines

Among the top bidders that received bids under the government’s forward e-auction of coal mines on Monday were Shree Cement and Dalmia Cement (Bharat).

Ten coal mines in total were offered for advance auction, and Dalmia Cement (Bharat) won the Mandla North mine in Madhya Pradesh while Shree Cement received the Datima mine in Chhattisgarh.

The forward e-auction of those mines, whose commercial auctions had been initiated by the Coal Ministry on November 3, 2022, began on Monday.

Coronavirus Update: Slight increase in COVID-19 cases in India, 30,757 new cases in last 24 hours

Corona Cases India: In a day, the country has reported 30,757 new cases of Covid-19, and 541 people have lost their lives. Corona has been cured in 67,538 people in the last 24 hours. There have been 4,19,10,984 Corona cures so far.

In India, there are 3,32,918 active cases. The current recovery rate is 98.03 percent. Daily positivity is 2.61%, while weekly positivity is 3.04%. A total of 34,75,951 vaccinations have taken place in the past 24 hours. Vaccinations have been administered to 1,74,24,36,288 people.

As Corona cases have been declining gradually, the Haryana government lifted all restrictions pertaining to Corona-19 Wednesday. Haryana State Disaster Management Authority (HSDMA) Chairman/Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has provided this information in a letter. In the order, however, residents of the state are advised to strictly follow COVID-related behavior, including social distance.

However, speaking of Delhi, apart from the decline in Coronavirus cases, the low of Covid-19 is also seen in the national capital. Delhi has registered 776 new cases in the last 24 hours. The number of cases rose slightly from yesterday despite that. Covid cases reached 756 on Tuesday. In Delhi, there have already been 18,53,428 reported cases. The infection rate for Corona was 1.37 percent.

In Chhattisgarh, 433 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 11,47,880. This information was provided by an official. As a result of four deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths related to Covid-19 in the state has risen to 14,016.

West Bengal is likely to experience heavy rainfall, cyclone alerts issued in these states

A cyclone alert has been issued for Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) report. However, heavy rain is expected in many parts of West Bengal on Saturday.

A deep depression has developed over northeast India and the east-central Bay of Bengal, the weather department said. This cyclone may intensify into a tropical cyclone known as Cyclone Gulab and move southward towards Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh.

According to the IMD, the storm will bring heavy rains to parts of West Bengal, including Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, East Midnapore, and South 24 Parganas.

Upon receiving the IMD alert, the Kolkata Police established a ‘Unified Command Center’. Kolkata and other areas in West Bengal are expected to receive heavy rainfall this week, prompting all police divisions and stations in the area to remain on high alert.

The police are remaining prepared for any untoward incidents that may occur due to the storm by keeping gumboots and other equipment on hand.

The coastal areas of West Bengal are preparing for the storm due to cyclone alerts in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Early Saturday morning, the depression was located 590 km east of Kalingapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, 510 km southeast of Gopalpur.

This storm is expected to evolve into a cyclonic storm within 12 hours. Towards the evening of September 26, it is estimated to cross the northern and southern coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha around Kalingapatnam.”, according to the IMD.

In Chhattisgarh on September 27, moderate to heavy rains are likely to fall in most places, with extremely heavy falls possible in isolated locations.
