Baloda Bazar Violence: Following the Satnami community’s violent protest in the Baloda Bazar area of Chhattisgarh, the authorities took action. The district has implemented Section 144.

Let me inform you that the Satnami community’s peaceful protest in Baloda Bazar, which began on May 17, descended into violence on Monday night as they demanded a CBI investigation. On Monday night, the protestors set fire to the offices of the Collector and SP. They threw rocks and burned over 200 two-wheelers and perhaps 50 four-wheelers. As a result, numerous crucial documents that were stored in both offices were also destroyed.
For over an hour, the demonstrators damaged numerous locations throughout the city, including the Baloda Bazar Collector complex. To subdue the gathering, the police used lathi charges. A few miscreants have been arrested by the police.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai obtained information regarding the state of affairs from Director General of Police Ashok Juneja and Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain. Three suspects in this case were detained by police and placed under arrest.
