In some of these nations, catastrophes like unexpected showers, hot droughts, and forest fires have alarmed the entire world. More than 4,000 deaths were reported in Spain, more than 1,000 in Portugal, more than 3,200 in the UK, and about 4,500 in Germany during the summer.

Disasters have long been on the WHO’s radar

The information comes as representatives and negotiators from all around the world gather in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), where they will build on earlier accords to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Changing climates and related problems have been emergencies for decades. The WHO and its allies have long raised the warning, but not much has been done.

Floods and storms are largely due to climate change

High-impact weather and climate events in 2021 directly impacted more than 500,000 people and resulted in hundreds of fatalities. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has said that if sanctions are imposed on the supply of crude oil from Russia, then Western countries will be forced to purchase crude oil at a price of $ 300 per barrel. There will be a major impact on the global market if such restrictions are imposed. Russia contributes 8 percent to global crude supply, while Europe provides 30 percent.

We said recently that we will stop Russia’s crude supply together with the European Union. Following this, crude had crossed $139 per barrel on the global market.

Germany’s gas supply will be closed

Novak warned Europe, saying they should not even think of banning Russia’s energy supplies, otherwise, the German gas pipelines would not run. If Europe decides not to buy oil from us, it will take more than a year to make up for it. During this period, one must be prepared to buy expensive oil.

Europe has to make a wise decision

Nowak said that European countries should think of their own interests. We are already prepared for such a scenario. If our supply is impacted there, we will start supplying in another market. Europe buys 40 percent of her gas from us. We have to make up for this when our supply is cut off. At the moment, we do not plan on imposing any such ban, but if Europe progresses, we will be obliged to.

According to a BigBlue Satellite Internet Service official, about one-third of the company’s customers in Europe, Germany, France, Hungary, Greece, Italy, and Poland were impacted by ViaSat outages on Friday. General Michel Friedling, head of the French Space Command, announced that a cyberattack had occurred. Our satellite network, which covered Europe and Ukraine, was attacked a few days after the launch of the campaign. The attack resulted in the disablement of several million terminals. According to him, this was a Viaset attack.

There were 5800 wind turbines offline in Germany and Central Europe as a result of outages. German company Enercon reports that “at present, only a limited range of wind power converters can be remotely monitored due to major satellite disruptions in Europe.” The disruptions began on 24 February, the company states. As he said, “Wind turbines are not very dangerous.” In addition, they will continue to produce power despite being unresettable remotely.

Several outages were traced to a cyberattack, according to a report from the German Federal Office of Internet Security.
