Fans have been anticipating Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal‘s on-screen chemistry since their movie was revealed because it will be their first time working on a project together. Producer Dinesh Vijan and director Laxman Utekar will helm this romantic comedy. The pair revealed the first image from their upcoming project in January of this year when they made the schedule wrap announcement.

The Love Aaj Kal actress recently recalled her happy times with Vicky Kaushal in an interview with Elle India, saying, “He let me in on the fact that he used to be nicknamed ‘Bicky’ in Punjab so, of course, I used to yell out, ‘Oye Bicky, oye’ from across the room.” As Sara previously noted when discussing working with Kaushal, Vicky Kaushal is a talented person and so easygoing that working with him is a lot of fun.
Sara’s most recent on-screen appearance was in Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. The audience praised her highly for the role she played in the movie. Along with Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh, she will next be seen in Gaslight, which will be directed by Pawan Kirpalani. Taurani’s Bhoot Police, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam, was previously directed by Pawan Kirpalani.
In his next film, Vicky will star alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. He also has the untitled film by Laxman Utekar starring Sara Ali Khan and the Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk-starring directorial by Anand Tiwari. Sam Bahadur, a Meghna Gulzar-directed film that also co-stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead, is another one of the actor’s credits.
