Bulldozer action in Delhi is being prepared, action will take place at Shaheen Bagh on May 9th

Bulldozers have been seen in the news in the past a lot. Again, bulldozers are going to be used in the capital city of Delhi. MCD has prepared the blueprint for bulldozer action against encroachment. This means that on May 9th, a bulldozer will be driven in Shaheen Bagh.

SDMC issued notice

As per the information, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to remove the encroachment. The SDMC has issued an action plan to remove encroachment in Okhla and Shaheen Bagh. Additionally, there is also a hint that the encroachers must pack up their goods or else the goods will be confiscated.

Demand for additional police force

SDMC has demanded more police force for the bulldozer action against encroachment. In the notice, women police officers are also urged to join. The SDMC has requested cooperation from the administration to avoid untoward incidents. Let us know that the campaign will run until May 13.

How is ‘Namo Ghat’ different from all the Ghats?

Namo Ghat is the only Ghat among all Ghats that is connected by air, water, and road. There can be more than one helicopter landing directly on the pier. Visitors can go directly through the waterway to Baba Vishwanath Dham after landing at the ghat without getting stuck in traffic. The Divyangjan can reach Maa Ganga directly from this ghat and do Achaman. A floating CNG station has also been installed at this ghat by GAIL India. Through cruise ships, people will be able to travel to Varanasi and nearby cities. Trains can go till Namo Ghat. Parking space has been reserved for the vehicle at the Ghat.

In the northwest region, an “Orange” weather alert has been issued, and temperatures are expected to rise by two degrees over the next few days.

According to the IMD‘s forecast released on Thursday, heatwave conditions will continue over northwest and central India for the next five days, and over east India for the next three days.

Meteorological Department forecasts a two-degree Celsius temperature increase over most parts of Northwest India over the next two days and that the temperature won’t fluctuate much thereafter. For the next four days, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Vidarbha in Maharashtra are under Orange alert status. Several parts of northwestern India are expected to reach 47 degrees Celsius due to high mercury.

Heat can become a problem for these people

“To the end of April, the temperature will be 45 degrees Celsius in parts of North India like Churu, Barmer, Bikaner, and Sri Ganganagar, and 45-46 degrees Celsius in the plains of Rajasthan.” said independent meteorologist Navdeep Dahiya. According to the IMD, vulnerable people, including infants, the elderly, and those with chronic diseases, could suffer moderate health concerns during the heatwave.

World-wide, Corona has had the second-highest impact on India

Corona cases in India increased by 17% Wednesday, 32 people died

As per a report from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India Wednesday had an increase of 17% in daily Covid-19 cases. Approximately 2,927 new cases were reported in India on a daily basis. There were 2,483 new Covid cases in India yesterday.

There have also been 32 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 5,23,654 deaths related to Covid.

As a result of the new infections, the country now has 43,065,496 cases, including 16,279 active cases. Within the last 24 hours, 643 new active cases have been reported. Active cases make up 0.04% of all cases.

Health Ministry officials also said that after 2,252 people got cured in the last 24 hours, the total number of cured people is 4,25,25,563. The Covid-19 recovery rate in India currently stands at 98.75%.

Furthermore, the government reports that 83.59 crore Covid-19 tests have been administered so far, out of which 5.05 lakh tests were administered in the last 24 hours. In these numbers, the country experienced a daily positivity rate of 0.58%, while the weekly positivity rate was 0.59%.

So far, 188.19 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide Covid vaccination campaign. During the past 24 hours, 21,97,082 people were given Corona vaccine.

Government’s action on anti-national content, 16 YouTube channels blocked including 6 Pakistani channels

16 YouTube news channels have been blocked for spewing anti-Indian propaganda, which threatens national security, foreign relations, and public order. There are 10 Indian channels and six Pakistani channels blocked. Under the IT Rules, 2021, emergency powers have been used to block these channels.

They incite communal hatred, disturb public order in India, and spread false and unverified information, according to the ministry. One channel has been blocked for over 68 million views.

A community shown as terrorist

Under Rule 18 of the IT Rules, 2021, none of the digital news publishers have provided the government with the necessary information. There have been instances where a community has been depicted as a terrorist in content published on some YouTube channels in India, according to the ministry. Conflicts between religious communities were fueled by hatred. An attempt was made to disrupt public order and create communal disharmony.

There were many false news posts about India posted on the YouTube channels Pakistan, including topics such as the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir, and India’s foreign policy.

Action was taken earlier also

The fact that this is not the first time the government has blocked YouTube channels is noteworthy; many more channels have been blocked in the past, citing national security concerns. As part of IT Rules 2021, the ministry recently blocked 22 YouTube channels, three Twitter accounts, one Facebook account, and one news website. Apart from spreading false information on social media, these accounts and channels spread malicious information related to India’s foreign policy, safety, and public order. There were 260 million viewers on the blocked YouTube channels.

Also in 2021, the government took major action against Pakistan’s propaganda against the country. Twenty YouTube channels that propagate against the country have been blocked by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

India blocks 16 YouTube channels

YouTube had been ordered by the ministry to take action against 20 channels in separate orders. Several intelligence agencies worked together with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on the operation. A planned propaganda network in Pakistan was responsible for blocking YouTube channels and websites in Pakistan.

Avneesh Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary for Home, told PTI, “An order was issued on Saturday removing loudspeakers from places of worship in the state.” The districts have been asked to submit a compliance report by April 30.

‘Police are to coordinate and communicate with religious leaders in order to remove illegal loudspeakers,’ he said. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar described steps taken so far including the removal of 125 loudspeakers and while 17 thousand individuals have reduced the volume of their own loudspeakers.

CM Yogi ordered

Since Eid falls on April 19 and Akshaya Tritiya falls on the same day, as well as other important religious festivals in the next few days, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that microphones be used during festivals. The sound should remain within the premises, though.

According to him, public events and locations should not be obstructed by loudspeakers to avoid inconvenience to others. It was said by CM Yogi that no procession/religious procession should be taken out without the permission of the organizer and that an affidavit should be obtained before permission can be granted.

Maharashtra:

Corona cases have risen rapidly in Maharashtra on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 137 new cases have been reported. 59 cases were reported a day earlier, on Monday. There have been 693 new cases found in Maharashtra in the last week. Not only that, but the positivity rate has risen to 0.4%.
