Bengali new year begins on Pohela Boisakh. During the West Bengal festival Pohela Baisakh or Poila Baisakh, the entire community celebrates. The word Pohela refers to the first day of the month in Bengali, and Baisakh refers to the new month.

According to the BJP high command, Yogi Adityanath can be elevated in the party in light of the BJP’s assembly election results in Uttar Pradesh. Based on information received from sources, CM Yogi may be appointed to the BJP Parliamentary Board.
The Parliamentary Board is scheduled to be reconstituted soon by BJP National President JP Nadda. Delhi will be visited by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday. The CM will depart from Gorakhpur for Delhi and meet the party’s leaders there. CM has been summoned to Delhi.

Amit Shah, who is on his way to Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday, will inaugurate the first direct flight between Srinagar and Sharjah and United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is the first time Amit Shah has visited the union territory since Article 370 was scrapped in August 2019.
