Dipak Gupta became the new CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, RBI made MD-CEO for 2 months

The fourth-largest private sector bank, Kotak Mahindra, has a new boss. Dipak Gupta has been named the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank by the Reserve Bank (RBI).

Dipak has been appointed only for two months in this interim position. Uday Kotak had left his position at the beginning of the month.

In a regulatory filing on Friday, Kotak Mahindra Bank stated that Dipak Gupta has been nominated by the RBI for a two-month term, commencing as of September 2. On September 1, four months before his term was set to expire, MD-CEO Uday Kotak announced his resignation. The last day of his term was December 31, 2023.

BJP won both the seats in Tripura, BJP’s Parvati Das ahead in Uttarakhand seat

Assembly Bypolls Results 2023: The by-elections held on September 5 for seven assembly seats in six states are still being counted as of this writing. Both of Tripura‘s seats were won by the BJP.

In the Ghosi assembly seat of Uttar Pradesh, where voting is still taking place, Sudhakar Singh of the Samajwadi Party is consistently ahead of Dara Singh Chauhan of the BJP.

The BJP has won the Sipahijala district of Tripura’s Dhanpur and Boxanagar assembly seats, according to the Election Commission. The BJP won the Boxanagar seat with almost 66% of the minority vote. Bindu Debnath has won in Dhanpur. 30237 votes were cast for BJP candidate Tafazzal Hussain in Boxanagar.

Parvati Das of the BJP is leading in the Uttarakhand district of Bageshwar, while Taapsee Roy of the BJP is leading in the West Bengal district of Dhupguri.

Aditya L1 sent selfie to ISRO from space, pictures of moon and earth shown in the video

Aditya L1 Mission: Solar mission Aditya L1 of the Indian Space Research Organization has sent a selfie. Aditya L1’s several devices can be seen in this selfie. This was posted on social media by ISRO.

On September 4th, Aditya L1 had also shot a picture. The Earth and the Moon may both be seen in this image. The little Moon can be seen on the right side of the image, and a significant portion of the Earth is visible in this photograph.

The Andhra Pradesh Space Centre of Sriharikota launched Aditya L1 on September 2. Aditya L1 will be placed in the halo orbit of the Lagrangian point, 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, after spending 128 days in space. Aditya L1’s payloads will examine the sun, plasma, and magnetic field.

Special session of Parliament will be held in the new Parliament House, Congress will be included in the special session

The government of Modi has scheduled a special session of Parliament for September 18–22. The new Parliament House, for which all preparations have been made, will host this session. The session will start in the old building on September 18 but move to the new Parliament House on September 19 in honor of Ganesh Chaturthi, according to sources cited by news agency ANI.

The construction of the new Parliament House, according to the officials, was finished long ago; however, some equipment and other things needed to be placed inside. In such a situation, the new building will be used for a special session of Parliament.

In actuality, the Central Vista Project, under which the new Parliament House was constructed, was managed by the Modi administration. Its first stone was laid in December 2020, and this year it was completed in a record amount of time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the new Parliament House on May 28, 2023.

Congress has stated that it will participate in the special session, despite the fact that it opposes every move made by the Modi government. Jairam Ramesh, a leader of the Congress and a member of Parliament, stated that we have decided not to boycott the special session of Parliament. We now have a chance to present the concerns of the general population. Each party will make an effort to present a variety of concerns.

‘One Nation, One Election‘ is currently the topic of debate throughout the nation. A committee of eight people was established by the central government a few days ago to explore “One Nation, One Election.”

The information indicates that a meeting will start at 3 PM. Ramnath Kovind met with representatives of the Law Ministry a few days ago. The location of this gathering will be Ramnath Kovind’s home.

There are 8 members in all on the committee. Other members of the group will be Amit Shah, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Ghulam Nabi Azad, NK Singh, Subhash Kashyap, Harish Salve, and Sanjay Kothari. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, a Congress member, has asked to be removed from this committee.

ED summons TMC MP Nusrat Jahan in the case of scam of lakhs of rupees in the name of giving flat

Nusrat Jahan, a Trinamool MP from Basirhat, West Bengal, has been called in by the ED in connection with a case of fraud involving lakhs of rupees in the pretext of providing a flat. Next Tuesday, he must appear at the CGO Complex, according to the request.

According to ED sources, Rakesh Singh, the director of that organization, has also been called in addition to Nusrat. He must also appear in the ED office on Tuesday, September 12.

In the years 2014–2015, Nusrat is suspected of stealing Rs 5.5 lakh from more than 400 senior persons under the pretense of offering them apartments. He was promised an apartment with 1,000 square feet in exchange. But neither the apartment nor his money were returned to him. Nusrat was referred to be the organization’s “sole director” by BJP politician Shankudev Panda.

Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-3 again made soft landing on the Moon, ISRO gave information

ISRO announced that Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander once more accomplished a soft landing on the Moon in a Monday X (Twitter) post. Actually, Vikram Lander completed the Hope Test, also known as the Jump Test, successfully.

In response to this, Vikram Lander ignited its engine at the instruction of ISRO, lifted itself as planned by 40 cm, and then touched down again 30 to 40 cm away.

According to ISRO, this experiment will have a significant impact on future lander and human mission returns. After this experiment, Lander Vikram’s systems are all operating normally.

The payload on the lander was folded during the test by instructing ChaSTE and ILSA, and then redeployed after a soft landing. According to ISRO, the Chandrayaan-3 mission fared better than expected with this experiment.

The mission of Chandrayaan-3 is almost complete after it has achieved its objectives. In a statement, ISRO said that Pragyan Rover has completed its work and has been set to sleep mode.

Big relief to former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain, got bail in a case related to riots

Delhi Riots: In a case involving the Delhi riots, the Karkardooma court has granted bail to former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain. In the matter of shooting and injuring young Ajay Goswami in the vicinity of the Dayalpur police station on February 25, 2020, the court granted Tahir Hussain bail.

Karkardooma district court noted that Hussain had already been granted bail in two other FIRs in which several witnesses were the same.

The court remarked that the High Court had in the past given the case’s merits thought before releasing Hussain on bail. In light of this, the court granted bail to the former AAP councillor on the condition that he post a one lakh rupee surety.

During the February 2020 riots in Delhi, the Delhi Police registered 11 cases against Tahir Hussain on charges of murder, rioting, and criminal conspiracy.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah becomes father, wife Sanjana Ganesan names son Angad
