BJP releases manifesto for Karnataka elections, key promises of BJP in Karnataka

There are only ten days left until Karnataka’s assembly elections. On May 1, the BJP‘s national president JP Nadda, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, and seasoned leader BS Yeddyurappa released the party’s electoral manifesto. ‘Praja Dhvani’ is the name given to it. The party has made numerous significant pledges to the people of Karnataka in this.

In its manifesto, the BJP has taken the 7 ‘A’ into consideration. Anna, Akshara, Aarogya, Abhivruddhi, Aadaya, and Abhaya are a few of them.

Major promises of BJP in Karnataka:

  1. Three free gas cylinders
  2. Atal Diet Center in every ward
  3. Houses for 10 lahks poor
  4. Half-liter Nandini milk
  5. Promise of five kg ration
  6. Uniform Civil Code
  7. Free health checkups every year for senior citizens
  8. No interest on loans up to five lakhs
  9. FD of 10 thousand in the name of Dalit women
  10. Promise to give five kg rice and five kg coarse grain

BJP formed a four-member inquiry committee to investigate the violence in Hanuman Jayanti in Odisha’s Sambalpur

An investigative committee has been established by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to look into the violence that occurred in Sambalpur, Odisha, during the Hanuman Jayanti procession.

The committee for the inquiry has reportedly been formed, according to information from BJP President J. P. Nadda. This committee of inquiry will consist of four people.

Brajlal, an MP for Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand, an MP for the Rajya Sabha It now includes Jyotirmoy Singh Mahto, Sameer Oraon, Aditya Sahu, and MP for Purulia in West Bengal. The investigating team will go to the scene and present Nadda with its findings.

On Wednesday, April 12, fighting broke out between two groups in Sambalpur after a bike rally held to honour Hanuman Jayanti is said to have been attacked with stones. which saw the participation of over 1,000 motorbike riders.

IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, 10 soldiers martyred and one civilian killed

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi gave the order to be vigilant in Sudan, closely watch the developments, and assess the security of Indian nationals.

The PM was directed to create an emergency plan for the evacuation of Indian citizens from Sudan and to make quick adjustments to their security and alternative options.

More than 3000 Indians are stranded in Sudan right now. They have difficulty being evacuated due to conflict in Khartoum.

Woman shot at Delhi’s Saket court, woman taken to hospital

ED attaches assets worth ₹34.75 crore of OctaFX in illegal forex trading case

In a case involving illegal forex trading, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has temporarily attached the assets of an online app called OctaFX, totaling 34.75 crore rupees.

According to an official statement released by the agency on Thursday, the ED issued orders for the temporary attachment of bank balances, cryptocurrency, automobiles, gold coins, and cash on Wednesday in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA) requirements.

The Pune police had filed an FIR, which was the basis for the ED’s inquiry. Additionally, on February 10 of this year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released a list of unapproved firms and exchange-traded products (ETPs) that included OctaFX.
