The CBI petitioned the Supreme Court to cancel Lalu Yadav’s bail and requested an early hearing. A hearing has been scheduled by the Supreme Court. The case will now be heard on August 25.

On another CBI petition, the Supreme Court had given notice on March 27. Lalu Prasad Yadav has received a notice from the Supreme Court. The original petitions and the petition from the CBI were combined by the Supreme Court. The CBI wants that Lalu Yadav’s bail in the Doranda Treasury case to be revoked. The Supreme Court has heard the CBI’s appeal of the Jharkhand High Court’s bail decision.

In the Jharkhand case involving the Doranda Treasury, Lalu was granted bail and released from custody. In the Doranda Treasury-related fodder scandal, Lalu Prasad Yadav received a five-year imprisonment along with a Rupees 60 lakh fine. The primary fodder scam conspirator has been identified as Lalu Yadav. There will now be a single bench hearing all cases simultaneously.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 completes final stage, will make soft landing on moon on August 23

The final stage of India’s Moon Chandrayaan-3 mission was finished today. The spaceship and Lander Vikram have successfully parted ways. According to ISRO, the Indian spacecraft will land gently on the moon on August 23 at 5:47 pm.

Chandrayaan 3 had earlier ascended to its fifth and final orbit. A six-wheeled rover will emerge from the lander after landing and conduct experiments there for one lunar day, or 14 days on the Earth.

Additionally, there is another interesting matter that has the attention of the entire world: which of the two missions, Chandrayaan 3 from India and Luna-25 from Russia, will make contact with the moon first? The lander, according to ISRO, has four primary rockets that will allow it to touch down on the lunar surface. Other sensors will also be tested in addition to this.

Narayan Panchariya, a former state vice president and member of parliament, has been appointed as the election management committee’s convenor. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal was tasked with leading the Sankalp Patra Committee at the same time. Vasundhara Raje, a former chief minister, was left off of both significant committees.

Fierce fire in chemical factory in Delhi’s Bawana, 30 fire engines present on the spot

In the Bawana industrial district of Narela, the capital of Delhi, a facility that makes chemicals caught fire. Firefighters are still on the scene and working to control the fire with 30 vehicles.

The news reports that a chemical factory in the Bawana area experienced a fire last night. The fire department provided information, stating that there are 30 tenders in total on the scene to put out the fire. During the operation being performed to contain the fire, 6 firefighters sustained injuries. To contain the fire, attempts are now being made.

According to the information received, all injured have been admitted to Maharishi Valmiki Hospital. As of yet, no cause has been identified for the fire.

Supreme Court stays removal of encroachment near Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura for 10 days, notice issued

The demolition campaign being carried out by the railway authorities to clear encroachments close to Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura has been put on hold by the Supreme Court for ten days.

According to the petitioner, people have lived on the land where the railway is removing the encroachment for more than 100 years. This led to a demand for the action to be stopped.

According to the petitioner, there had been habitation on the property where the railroad was eliminating the encroachment for more than a century. On the basis of this, a request to cease the action was made.

The petitioner informed the court that the Railways had already cleared up many encroachments. There are currently 70–80 remaining homes; therefore, destruction should be halted. Immediately after the apex court stayed the action, the Railways were asked to respond. However, no one was present on behalf of the Railways in the Supreme Court during the hearing.

The Yamuna’s water level breached the danger threshold and reached 204.57 meters at 3 o’clock in Delhi, according to the CWC. 204.5 meters is the “alert” level.

Army, local police, home guards, NDRF, SDRF, and the Army are all working to rescue people. According to SDM Shimla (Urban) Bhanu Gupta, 12 bodies have so far been found.

Due to the severe rainfall, all schools and colleges in Himachal will be closed today. In addition, directives to close government institutions have been issued. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for some regions.

19 people died due to heavy rains in Himachal, heavy rain alert till August 15 in many districts

Rain has once again had a negative impact on life in Himachal Pradesh. Three different occurrences involving severe rainfall in Himachal Pradesh resulted in the deaths of 19 individuals.

In Mandi and Solan, cloudburst has claimed the lives of 12 individuals. Meanwhile, a landslide at a Shiva temple in Shimla’s Summer Hill neighborhood claimed the lives of 9 more people. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal, has urged people to stay at home. As a precaution, all public schools and colleges in the state have been shut down.

There is a warning for heavy rains in numerous Himachal regions till August 15th. In the Himachal Pradesh village of Dhayawala, Mamlik, a cloudburst occurred. Since the previous night, it has been fiercely raining in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Champawat, Nainital, and Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand have all received a red alert, while many other districts, including Haridwar, have a yellow rain alert.
