First Ramayana Circuit Train will leave from Delhi today, details here

Indian Railways has announced to run a Ramayana Circuit Train to see the major places associated with Lord Shri Ram. Ayodhya will be one of the places this train stops. The Ramayana Circuit’s first train will depart from Safdarjung Station in Delhi on Sunday.

Covid-19 has improved in terms of its situation, In order to promote religious tourism and to resume domestic travel through trains, the IRCTC has developed this plan.

Today (November 7), Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station is the departure point for the ‘Ramayana Circuit’ train. The journey of this train will take 17 days, and it is scheduled to stop at many places associated with the life of Lord Ram, including Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, and Chitrakoot.

According to the information provided by IRCTC, this train has two types of coaches – first AC and second AC. As for security, CCTV cameras are installed on the train, and there is a security guard in each coach. On the train, there are also facilities such as two dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, and a shower room.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) confirmed yesterday that such a journey will begin on November 7. This information was available through PTI-language reports. Then four other trains will leave as well.

In order to serve South India’s religious tourism market, the IRCTC will operate Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Madurai. Madurai will be served by a train that departs for Hampi, Nashik, Chitrakoot, Allahabad, Varanasi, and then returns to Madurai.

16th November will be the departure date. There will be a departure on 25 November for the Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Sri Ganganagar.

Chennai roads submerged due to heavy rains, water entered the house

Chembarambakkam Lake will release water this afternoon, as all the lakes in and around Chennai are full. 82.35 ft of water have been recorded in the 85.4 ft high area of the lake.

Several districts along the Adyar River have been warned of flooding, especially Kancheepuram and Chengalpattu.

Kannada Star Puneeth Rajkumar dies at 46 due to a heart attack

SpiceJet asks Bengal government to remove restrictions on weekly flights

The budget airline SpiceJet has written to the Bengal government to ask for the flight’s restriction to be lifted, which is currently three days a week.

In a letter to the state government, the airlines requested approval to operate daily flights from Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Pune to Bengal (Calcutta, Bagdogra, Andal).

“At present, flights are permitted only three days a week (on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), and passengers have to take a via flight/connection on other days to get to West Bengal. Flight operations from the above-listed cities will benefit passengers and reduce travel time to destination,” according to the letter.

As a result, the airline will operate daily flights at a time when the government has allowed airlines to run 100 percent of their scheduled capacity beginning October 18, removing a key restriction imposed when domestic flight operations resumed in May 2020 following a two-month lockdown.

However, restrictions on fares bands remain in place, and a decision will likely be made soon regarding them as well.

In September, the domestic passenger volume in the country rose to 70.66 lakh – compared with 39.43 lakh in the same month of 2020. This was largely due to improved vaccinations, easing of travel restrictions, and a robust demand during the holiday season.

On October 17, the domestic air traffic reached its highest level of 327, 923 in a single day.

Srinagar-Sharjah international flight to be inaugurated by Amit Shah

Amit Shah, who is on his way to Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday, will inaugurate the first direct flight between Srinagar and Sharjah and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union minister of civil aviation, said almost one month ago that efforts are being made to start international services in Srinagar, and that it will support the development of the union territory.

On September 25, he announced the extension of Srinagar Airport’s terminal from 25,000 square meters to 63,000 square meters. The Srinagar airport will receive an investment of 1,500 crores, and the Jammu airport will receive an investment of 600 crores.

The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole, met on Monday to discuss necessary arrangements to be put in place and how to handle passengers at Srinagar airport because of the Covid pandemic.

A government spokesman said immigration and customs arrangements were also discussed. Officers were directed to execute the arrangements meticulously.

This included managing and regulating incoming passengers, segregating domestic and international passengers, performing Rapid PCR tests at the airport for international passengers, and performing RT-PCR tests for Covid within 48 hours.

Additionally, brick kilns within eight kilometers of the airport were discussed at the meeting and the spokesman said other concerns included alternative approach roads.

Rajasthan roadways bus free travel to students for competitive exams from October 21 to 25

Rajasthan News: Patwari candidates will be able to travel for free in Rajasthan roadways buses for two days before and one day after the test, for a total of five days. A number of orders were issued by the roadways administration in response to a high number of applicants.

From October 21 to October 25, the candidates will be able to travel to the examination center and back in regular and express buses on the Rajasthan roadways bus for free. Applicants will be provided free travel on the basis of their admit card and photo ID for coming and going.

Private buses will be available for travel from 22 to 25 Oct

At the district level, the district administration is constructing temporary bus stops. From 22 to 25 October; private buses will be acquired and operated from temporary bus stands. Only 500 private buses will be taken in Jaipur.

There will be five temporary bus stops

In line with the REET exam; five temporary bus stops will be built in the city for the Patwari exam. The bus stand will be set up a day before the exam; i.e. on 22nd October, which will be a day after the exam until 25th October.

These bus stands will be used instead of Sindhi camp for bus service.

Bangladesh Police identify man who placed Quran at Durga Puja pandal in Comilla

A local man has incited violence against Durga puja pandals in Comilla and other places. Iqbal Hossain, from the city’s Sujanagar area, is the suspect’s name, Comilla’s Superintendent of Police Farooq Ahmed told the Dhaka Tribune.

According to Ahmed, a 35-year-old man had placed the Quran in a Durga Puja pandal in Comilla-Bangladesh, which led to violence and killed three.

In its report, the Dhaka Tribune stated that the police identified Hossain after analyzing CCTV footage from Durga Puja venues. There hasn’t been an arrest yet.

As per the CCTV footage, Hossain goes towards the Durga Puja pandal holding the Quran. Lord Hanuman’s club was later seen walking away with him. Ahmed said; that more details about Hossain will be disclosed at a police briefing on Thursday.

Bangladesh has seen an increase in attacks on Hindu temples since last Wednesday after a social media post appeared showing the Quran kept in a Durga Puja pandal. 66 houses were damaged; and at least 20 Hindu homes were set ablaze late on Sunday night.

Police reported that there have been over 450 arrests in different parts of the country for suspected temple attacks. The Comilla incident led to the arrests of 41 people, including four of Hossain’s friends.

It has been ordered by Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, that those who incite violence with religion will face immediate action.

People are also urged not to believe anything; they find on social media without fact-checking it. 169 million people live in Bangladesh, and 10 percent of them are Hindus.

Nevertheless; the defense maintained that there is no reason for the NCB to continue keeping the accused in custody since no drugs were found in Aryan’s possession, and he only talked about football in his WhatsApp chats.

Heavy rain caused cracks in Balason Bridge in Siliguri, West Bengal, traffic was diverted
