ED raids several places in Jammu and Kashmir in Rs 223 crore cooperative bank fraud case

Jammu and Kashmir: In the context of its investigation into the over Rs 223 crore scam at the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Bank, the Enforcement Directorate raided multiple places in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

This fraud was carried out using the purportedly fake River Jhelum Cooperative House Building Society name.

The report also states that the ED is conducting raids on the former bank chairman’s premises. The fraudulent act was carried out under the guise of the River Jhelum Cooperative Housing Building Association, a fictitious residential association.

Under Section 17 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), raids were carried out by the ED’s Srinagar office.

ED raids the residence of former Forest Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, search continues at Amloh house

Punjab: In connection to the alleged forest scam, the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at various locations in Punjab, including the home of former Congress minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot. The former minister’s home in Amloh’s Ward No. 6 was raided by a Jalandhar ED team.

Early this morning, the ED conducted a raid on Sadhu Singh’s Amloh residence. There is news that Sadhu Singh Dharamsot is not at home at this period. At home, there are his wife and son. Meanwhile, ED’s action against Sadhu Singh Dharamsot continues.

CM PS Dhami met 41 laborers rescued from the tunnel in Uttarakhand and handed over checks of Rs 1 lakh each

Uttarakhand Tunnel News: In Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami met with 41 laborers who had been saved from the Silkyara Tunnel and gave them checks totaling one lakh rupees apiece. Additionally, CM Dhami has requested that the business hiring these workers for the tunnel’s construction grant them a leave of 15-20 days. in order for the employees to visit their houses and get to meet their families.

Dhami had previously declared that the workers stranded in the Silkyara tunnel would receive free medical care from the Uttarakhand government. Additionally, Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke with other laborers’ families.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said “The health condition of all workers is being monitored. All of them are doing well. The PM, like a parent, was concerned about the welfare of the workers. We are fortunate to have the PM’s leadership under which each person in the country is safe…We have given an amount to each worker as an award for the courage they have shown. As per the advice of doctors, all the workers will undergo health check-ups at AIIMS Rishikesh.”

After 17 days, the laborers are relieved to have been removed from the Silkyara tunnel safely. The government of Uttarakhand and the Central government have been congratulated by the laborers for putting all the protection measures in place. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was the one providing PM Narendra Modi with information at all times. PM Modi also spoke with the workers on Tuesday after they were removed from the tunnel.

Central Government appointed senior IAS officer Atal Dulloo as the new Chief Secretary of Jammu Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir: After Arun Kumar Mehta, the current chief secretary, retired, the Central Government named senior IAS officer Atal Dulloo as the new chief secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. About this, a notification has been sent out.

The announcement states that As of December 1, Atal Dulloo would assume the role of Chief Secretary. Arun Kumar Mehta, IAS (AGMUT:1988), will retire on November 30.

Atal Dulloo is a Hindu Kashmiri who lives in Jammu & Kashmir. In the past 20 years, he has been the second Hindu Kashmiri to assume this role. Vijay Bakaya served as Jammu and Kashmir’s chief secretary from August 2005 to May 2006 prior to this.

SC reprimanded Delhi government for not providing full funds for RRTS project, said – full payment will have to be made

It was informed to the bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Sudhanshu Dhulia that the Delhi government had only contributed a portion of the funds intended for RRTS (Regional Rapid Transport System). The bench stated that this does not raise the issue of half-payment. Payment in full is required.

Even at the most recent hearing, the Delhi government was chastised by the Supreme Court and instructed to move funds from its advertising budget to the RRTS fund.

Gyanvapi case: ASI asked for 3 more weeks time to submit Gyanvapi survey report

ASI has filed a request to extend the deadline by three weeks for submitting the survey results from the Gyanvapi location. The District Judge’s court will host the hearing following lunch.

Major road accident in Churu, Rajasthan; huge collision between two vehicles, 5 people died, 4 injured

Churu Road Accident: Last night, a horrifying car crash occurred in Sardar, in the Churu area. In the vicinity of the village of Bhadasar, two cars collided head-on, killing five persons and critically injuring four more.
