Commercial LPG cylinder prices reduced by Rs 158, effective from September 1

Commercial LPG Prices Cut: LPG gas cylinders have been reduced in price this week by the central government, and now commercial gas cylinders have been reduced as well.

The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been decreased by Rs 158 by public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Friday. Indian Oil’s website states that as of today, September 1, 2023, the new price is in effect.

In New Delhi, a 19-kilogram commercial LPG gas cylinder will cost Rs. 1522.5. It was formerly being sold for Rs. 1,680.50. In Mumbai and Chennai, LPG gas cylinders will cost respectively Rs 1,504.5 and Rs 1,695.

As a Rakshabandhan gift to the women of the country, the central government reduced the price of domestic LPG gas cylinders by Rs 200 on August 30.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had recommended the apps that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had prohibited. Section 69 of the IT Act was used to impose the app restriction.

According to the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, Dearness Relief (DR) for Central Government pensioners who are families has been increased from 3 percent to 34 percent with effect from January 1, 2022. Department of State tweeted that the new family pension rate has been rolled out for Central Government pensioners and family pensioners. On January 1, 2022, a new rate was implemented.

Dearness relief has been reduced to 34 percent of the basic pension and family pension. Earlier, it was 31 percent.
