Big action between security forces and Naxalites in Abujhmarh, Chhattisgarh, 5 Naxalites killed in encounter

A fierce clash between security forces and Naxalites is underway in the Abujhmarh region of Chhattisgarh, near the Narayanpur district border. According to reports, the ongoing encounter has already resulted in the deaths of five Naxalites.

The confrontation began early Saturday morning when security personnel launched a search operation in the North Abujhmad area. Acting on intelligence about Naxalite activity, a joint team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), and Border Security Force (BSF) moved into the region. As the operation progressed, heavy gunfire broke out between the two sides.

Officials report that intermittent firing continues at the encounter site. So far, an automatic rifle has been recovered during the search operation. It is also believed that several Naxalites have been injured during the clash.

On the other side, two security personnel sustained injuries and are being evacuated from the area through a rescue operation. Despite the challenges, the search operation continues, with security forces combing the area for more evidence of Naxalite presence.
