India records 1,300 new Covid cases, the highest in 140 days

On Thursday, India recorded 1,300 new Covid cases, the highest number in 140 days, and 7,605 active cases, according to data from the Health Ministry, which was cited by news agency PTI.

4.46 crore cases of Covid-19 have now been reported overall (4,46,99, 418). According to figures from the health ministry, there were three deaths, one each from Karnataka, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, bringing the total death toll to 5,30,816.

The weekly positivity rate was 1.08%, while the daily positivity rate was 1.46%. With a nationwide recovery rate of 98.79%, the number of recoveries has increased to 4,41,60,997.

According to the latest bulletin, no new cases of death from Covid-19 have been reported and the total number of deaths remains 14,730. In the state, 536 patients are receiving treatment, according to the bulletin. The number of people who have been cured has risen to 23,03,877 after 46 people were cured on Friday.

Delhi’s Corona

In Delhi, 140 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Friday, but no one died from the infection. According to a Health Department bulletin, 0.43 percent of the city’s residents were infected. Despite this, the total death toll remains stable at 26,145. In the report, it says 32,444 tests of Covid-19 were performed on Thursday.

In total, 1,79,33,99,55 people have been vaccinated against Corona. Yesterday, 4362 new cases of Corona virus were reported. During this period, 66 people perished due to coronas. A total of 9,620 people were corrected.

Corona News: 11,499 new cases of Covid-19 in the country; 255 patients died

India has now reported 4,29,05,844 cases of Covid-19, a day after there were 11,499 new cases reported. At the same time, 1,21,881 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

The number of cases had crossed one crore on December 19, 2020. On May 4, 2016, the number of infected crossed 20 million. On June 23, 2021, the number crossed 30 million. The number of cases crossed four crores on January 26.

Within the last 24 hours, 255 deaths have been reported due to infection, according to the ministry. Kerala reported 177 deaths, while Karnataka reported 15 deaths.

Corona infection rate in India is 20.75%, 3.06 lakh new cases in a day

Corona cases have decreased in the country slightly compared with yesterday. Within the past 24 hours, 3,06,064 Corona cases have been reported. 3.33 lakh cases of Corona were reported yesterday.
